I caught my body cheating
You know those days..the ones where you find yourself with an empty bag of potato chips and wonder if there was a hole in the bag or if you had actually ate the whole thing. My body finds all sorts of ways of getting me to cheat. Does your body tell you something is too hard, does stress push you over the limit and you cheat yourself from having a healthy body. Building a healthy relationship with food is just as important as the relationships you build with people. You would never cheat on your spouse would you? Being healthy and having a healthy body weight takes time and effort, just like any other kind of relationship. And when you are in a good relationship you don’t CHEAT. Why should eating be any different. Relationships can be toxic, they can kill you, there is all sorts of side effects. And the worse thing you can do, is make excuses. Listening to that negative chatter in your head that says, it is only one donut, one slice of cake, just ONE all you can eat buffet. And the other conversation that goes on in your head. It is too hard, my husband/wife doesn’t support me, I work shift work, people at work bring in lots of candies, I had kids, then there was that nasty divorce, loss of a job, moving to another Province or State……you know those stories. You know your cheating your body when you get out of breath just walking up stairs, when you can no longer play with your kids without getting out of breath, when you can not sleep good, your face is breaking out, and when you stand at the back or sideways in photos. Does any of this resonate with you??
The pounds started rolling in and over the years we see friends gaining up to 200 lbs. Fast food eating became something you did every day. It was easier, it was FASTER and you got FATTER. They call it Fast Food for a reason, and no part of it is healthy but there are healthy programs out there that are both FAST and healthy and only takes minutes a day to prepare. Wouldn’t that be an ideal plan? $3.50 for Breakfast and $3.50 for Lunch..fast food prices but healthy choices.
Stop the merry go round of dieting, fad diets, buying treadmills and exercise equipment in the New Year..and we all know what happens to that stuff by March. Memberships in gyms go up in January but slack off by March too. Those are the FACTS. So what do you do to stop this merry go round of unhealthy dieting, and knowing what to do to get your old body back. And remember you can not exercise out bad nutrition. It starts with what you eat first.
- What if you could get a healthy program that cost $3.50 for breakfast and $3.50 for lunch and healthy suggestions for your other meal.
- What if you could start BEFORE Christmas and learn how to minimize the weight you will gain over the holidays?
- What if you could have access to a nutritionist to ask questions over the phone?
- What if you had access to private groups on Facebook with professionals like personal trainers, naturopath, nutritionists and athletes?
- What if you are an athlete and want to know how to build muscle?
- What if you have overweight teens – wouldn’t you want to help them?
Don’t wait until after Christmas to learn how to keep those extra pounds off. Don’t wait until January as you will have MORE to lose. Be proactive. It is all about decisions and how you want to feel and look. This is not about image. This is about learning how to eat more healthier and the benefits is you will lose weight.
Let me know when your ready, because I have already started 🙂
