One more sleep till Mom 2.0 Summit
This will be my first time attending this amazing event. I can hardly wait to meet two of the amazing sponsors. Dove and Lego. Dove because of their amazing campaigns for women, the touching videos they make and the products they produce. Lego is my second choice as it is a huge part of our life with three little grand kids. One is turning 7 this fall and his room is full of lego. My husband built him several special shelfs so that they are safe from Grandson #2 who just turned 2. He plays with the much bigger Lego which he is happy with. I was so thrilled to see Girlie Lego. Not since the Easy bake oven for Boys have I been so excited. Can hardly wait until I can buy all the lego for Granddaughter who is #3.
Have you ever been so excited to attend an event, that it feels like Christmas, that is what ?
Attending any event when you are surrounded by so many talented Mommy Bloggers who go to great lengths to attend. I bought my tickets early and saw that it sold out, which was a good thing as I am quite the procrastinator. At least this time, I got my brand new business cards printed, social media ribbons ordered, my mani pedi done..BUT not my hair. Hairdressers, or should I say good hairdressers you must book months in advance. Lesson learned. Just remember you read it here, and that is why I look like I do. Could be worse, I could have settled for any hairdresser, got a bad haircut and would never live it down.
What do you love about the events you go to? Is it the people you get to network from all over the world? The actual event with all the speakers? Or the amazing sponsors. I must give the organizers credit. Finding a great location is very important. I will NOT complain about the Phoenician from what I have seen so far. Being Canadian and having a really rough Winter, I welcome the thought of sitting by the pool in late afternoon and just enjoying the view and the warmth. Leaving 9-10C to 38F is a big jump but I am sure I will not melt.
For anyone who has gone there before I would love to hear your comments about the event. I will be posting about my trip, and just thankful I can go on so many. I am a work from home Grandmother, who blogs and is also affiliated with a Health and Wellness Company. I chose this company after the great results I got with both weight loss and my health. I feel that quality of life should always come first before quantity. And my quality of life has improved so much that I never think twice about attending an event where I can learn more about Social Media, Product Ambassadors, affiliate marketing and meeting people from every walk of life
As a blogger, it is important to share a message, a topic, something that is close to your heart. But also to learn how to make money with your blog. As my husband once said, everything is a hobby until you make money and THEN it is a business. I make multiple streams of income which allows me to go to events like this one and travel as far as Australia. I am constantly learning, but every trip is fun as I always stay a few days after the event and just soak up the surroundings. The Phoenician looks like a perfect place to soak.
A friend explained this image to me and it is so true. I did not want to trade time for money. I became a business owner and proud to be able to have the life I have and show others how I do it. My motto is Live the Life you deserve, Not the Life you were given. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to make residual income, why not set a time with me to talk on Skype, or by phone. I would love to see you making money with your blog
