***Breaking news ~ Paul Hartmann (brother of the late Phil Hartman of SNL fame) to attend the 420 event in Windsor Ontario.
Just announced today, March 23rd that Paul Hartmann will be a speaker at the 2 day 420 event being held in Windsor at Charles Clarke Square. Paul is a Medical Cannabis patient and activist. Previously he spent 7 years as a music agent seeking new talent for a company his oldest brother John started called Hartmann & Goodman. He left this company and ended up in Southern California.
He later spent 10 years working on a 150-acre organic farm he started in Southern California. Hartmann became acquainted with the Owen Sound area through his girlfriend, actress and singer Stevie Vallance, whose family cottaged in Southampton. Paul spent years to fight for his late brother to have a place on the Canadian Walk of Fame.
The Owen Sound newspaper wrote:
But thanks to campaigning by his younger brother Paul Hartmann, who lives in Owen Sound, and an enduring fan base who cast votes for him, Hartman now has his own star on Canada’s Walk of Fame in Toronto as of 2012
Paul volunteered to be a speaker to talk about his own personal story with Prostate Cancer. But also to support his long time friend Sam Mellace who attended the first 420 event in 2017. Sam is not available this year, so Paul jumped at the chance to promote his friend Sam Mellace’s book called the Great Cannabis Conspiracy The news of Paul Hartmann’s planned appearance at this event has excited many patients in groups on Facebook.
As a professional blogger who attends many events, I have to say that meeting Paul Hartmann last year was a highlight. His honesty, and openness to share his personal story about Prostate Cancer captivated the audience. Many people approached him after he spoke at this event held in Georgetown, Ontario. It inspired them not only to go for regular Prostate exams, but also to consider Medical Cannabis as a solution.
The organisers of the 420 event are thrilled that Paul is travelling to Windsor especially for this event and hope that Medical patients will come out to hear his story.
